My favourite palette at the moment is Huda's Mercury Retrograde. You can create some great summer looks and there's enough shimmer to get you through the winter party season. It really is a great palette.

Really wanted to share with you all this brilliant hack courtesy of Wayne Goss. It’s really simple and it’s basically free which is what all the best hacks should be!! As per the photo, Wayne folds a piece of toilet paper in half then rests it on the outer corner of his eye when he’s applying eyeshadow in the crease and outer corner of the eye, and this helps to keep it from straying too far so it stays neat and sharp looking. I’ve tried it and it’s brilliant and definitely helps. If you want to see the full video it’s on YouTube titled ‘Over 40? Hooded eyes? Try this!’.

KIKO MILANO Smart Fusion Lipstick in shade 405. I purchased this from Feelunique and it was only £3.00. For the price it is really good quality and the colour is nice. Glides on the lips easily and feels hydrating when wearing. The softening effect and feel lasts for a good time. Available in 36 striking colours. Medium to full coverage.

The go-to skincare product I literally can't live without is Neutrogena Hydro Boost Express Hydrating Spray. It provides long-lasting hydration for my skin and every time when my skin feels a bit dry, dull or tired, a bit of this cream boosts it right away. It's the most versatile and effective moisturiser I have come across so far.
