The most memorable random act of kindness was when I was on my way up to Liverpool, the train was packed like I'd never seen before (12 cramped into the tiny space where the toilet is on the Virgin trains) stood up for nearly 6 hours absolutely exhausted. The train then got cancelled while we were on it, so I was now stuck in Crewe, panicking and tired and this incredibly kind guy, after finding out I was also going to Liverpool, without hesitation took my case for me as we had to run to catch the next train. The next train arrived and again it was packed and we all had to squeeze on, I nearly got pushed through the gap between the platform and the train but he grabbed me and my case onto the train.
He made an incredibly stressful day that little bit brighter and the kindness he showed will never be forgotten!
